Chaffin Luhana LLP is pleased to welcome Kelly Camarote to their Ohio Valley office in Weirton, West Virginia. A tri-state native, Kelly will be the first voice clients hear when calling the office.
We are excited to have Kelly working with us, said partner Eric Chaffin. Her experience as a news anchor and reporter have given her the necessary skills to quickly determine what our clients need, and then help us to fulfill that need by coordinating the appropriate actions, depending on the case.
Raised in Crabtree, Pennsylvania, Kelly graduated from Point Park University in 2006 with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Theater Arts. While at Point Park, Kelly interned at two Pittsburgh television stations. After college, she was hired at WTAE as an associate producer. In January 2007, she was hired by WVVA-TV as a general assignment reporter, where she worked for two years before moving to the WTOV9 news team in October 2009.
When Kelly heard about the open position with Chaffin Luhana, she was excited to apply for it. It seemed like a really good fit, she says. This was the type of position where I could use my skills of interviewing, building personal relationships and contacts, and helping people who have been victimized so they know someone cares, and someone is listening.
Kelly also found Chaffin Luhana’s motto of Doing Good by Doing Right„¢ to be extremely appealing. You want to help people and make sure you’re doing the right thing for them, she says. Working with this firm, I have a chance to do that.
Kelly will be taking initial calls from clients, with the purpose of finding out what they need and what they’re looking for, and then working with the attorneys to determine if Chaffin Luhana can help and how. I am the first voice they hear, she says, and it’s my job to figure out what we can do for them, and to then put the ball in motion.
Kelly started with Chaffin Luhana on June 27, 2013, and is looking forward to her future there. I’m really excited for the opportunities that have been presented to me here. I hope to be able to help the firm, my coworkers, and particularly our clients. When potential clients call us, my goal is to help them to feel comfortable and confident in our ability and desire to make their lives better.
